How To Bathe Your Cat?
Being a caretaker for your feline friend, you have to do certain things that make him unhappy. You never wish to make your cat afraid and scared of something.
However, that thing is something which is actually necessary for your cat. An example is bathing. Your cat hates bathing and is takes it as a painful and fearful session. You have to do it anyhow.
But yes, you can make the session a wonderful experience for your cat by applying some smart tricks and cat supplies. The present blog post throws light on some of them.
Choose a time for bathing when your feline friend is calm and cool. Make sure that the time is never close to that of his feeding or playing. Prepare everything for bathing him in his absence.
Keep all the pet supplies required for cleaning the cat in the place where you wish to bathe him. Some of such items can be body shampoo, lufa, towel, etc. Take a tub full with water. The water should be a little warmer than luke warm. Your cat will enjoy being in it. He will feel it soothing and refreshing.
Hold your beloved in your arms. Talk to him gently and lovingly. Make him completely relaxed and calm. When you find him prepared for bathing, put him in the tub. Play with him.
Continue talking with him as you were doing earlier. Clean his body, excluding the face with the shampoo and water. Use a small cup to pour water on him. When done, take him out and pat him dry with the towel.
Play with him in the sun. This will make him feel good and help him recover from the session, if any case he got scared.
